NBA’s best record holder this season, the Milwaukee Bucks just keeps on running havoc against every team they faces and the Orlando Magic was latest victim.
The Bucks owned the Magic, 112-95 in their home floor to collect its 45th victory in 52 games so far this year and tighten the grip on the number one seed in the Eastern Conference.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton led the way for Milwaukee as they scored 19 points and 21 points respectively, with the reigning MVP adding 18 rebounds and 9 assists – one dime away from another triple-double outing.
Big man Brook Lopez bagged his season high 23 points that was built around 5 triples during the game. Wesley Matthews and Eric Bledsoe, the other two Bucks starters rounded up the double-digit scoring with 12 points and 18 points respectively.
After the game though, the Greek Freak pointed out that the key factor for the good run they have is playing good basketball as a team.
It’s nice to not trail … but it doesn’t really mean anything. We have to keep playing good basketball.
We were up 27 and they came back, cut the lead to 11. So it doesn’t mean anything. We just try to take it quarter by quarter.
A lot of people didn’t think we would have a better team (than last season), but I trusted my team from day one. When we came together we knew what we had, and it shows on the court.
Meanwhile, Orlando was led by Nikola Vucevic (21 points) and 6th man Terrence Ross (20 points) as they 31st loss this season but remains in the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference.
