With the Golden State Warriors up 2-0 in second round playoffs series with the Houston Rockets, with chance to take 3-0 lead in a tough back and forth game 3, Steph Curry missed many layups and the last missed dunk in OT further magnified his bad game.
He had a bad game pretty much on both offense and defense, shooting 7 of 23 for 17 points and also had couple of defense lapses that Houston Rockets took advantage of. The moment that finally magnified his bad game was the missed dunk with pretty much only him and the ring with 1:49 to go in OT which pretty much ended the game with the Rockets finally snatching a game in the series making it now 2-1 series heading to game 4.
During the post-game press conference, Curry said
“I’ll probably be thinking about it tonight, go to sleep, turn the page,”
“In terms of where we are as a team, up 2-1 … that’s what you want going into a series against a great team like that. So, I know I’ll be ready.”
